The value for money was excellent and our room was fantastic, with a beautiful design and plenty of space. The location was great, away from the busy city but still close enough to Whitby. The staff treated us very well and made our stay enjoyable.
The breakfast experience could be improved by adding more variety in terms of glassware and serving bowls.

We absolutely loved the spaciousness of Uggleby House - plenty of room for two families! The design and furnishings had a real wow factor. The bedrooms, especially the master, were comfortable and lovely. The location was ideal for exploring Whitby and other local attractions. a great place for youngsters to stay!
We felt right at home at Uggleby House - no complaints at all!

The general areas were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it suitable for senior people like myself. I felt comfortable and at ease during my stay, thanks to the thoughtful design choices.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely delightful, with beautiful furnishings and a charming ambiance. The general areas of the hotel were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways and comfortable seating areas conveniently located throughout.
It would have been even better if the children working there were more attentive and responsive to the needs of the guests.

Wow, what a fancy house! Plenty of space for two families and a lovely garden. Near Whitby, but thank goodness, away from the madness.
Oh dear, no wifi! How on earth did I survive without scrolling through Instagram while sipping tea in the luxurious surroundings?

I absolutely loved the beautiful decor of the house, especially the elegant furniture and charming decorations. It created a warm and cozy atmosphere that was perfect for a senior woman like myself. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and easily accessible, which made it convenient for me to navigate around and enjoy my stay.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in terms of catering to the needs of senior guests. It would have been beneficial if there were additional amenities or services specifically tailored for older individuals.
